The Praxis
What a great way to begin the day by finding out you passed the praxis! For those of you who do not know what the praxis is...it's the test that determines if you can teach or not! A lot of people have to take it multiple times because the test is so difficult. Pretty big deal. I took the Social Studies: Content Knowledge, and let me tell you I was sure I failed. That was one of the hardest tests I had ever taken. It had U.S. history, World history, government, civics, political science, economics, geography, and behavioral sciences. My major was in history.... haha..But I passed, and I am one step closer to teaching! I never have to take a horrible standardized test again! God is so good, and I know I could not have passed without Him! Now back to studying for my 3 finals this week.....I was ready for Thursday night, but had a final moved to Friday night...so bring it on Friday night!

New Season
So, I think I have given in to the whole blog idea. It is a great way for me to keep up with my friends who now live in many different places, and let them know about The Bobo's. :) My life has changed so much in the past 4 months, and I would not change it for anything. God has blessed me so much when he brought Jason into my life. :)
This fall has been crazy because it has been the best 4 months of my life, and the most stressful 4 months! I am in the middle of my program at UAB, and it has worn me down this semester. I am so ready to be done with this school and program! It has been so hard to balance being a wife, work, observation hours, class, and school work. All I want to do is finish decorating my house, and take care of Jason :) I don't want to be doing school work ALL THE TIME..... But luckily I have only a few more days left of this semester, and then some much need rest.
The holiday season is and already has been so different now that I'm married. We spent Thanksgiving with Jason's family, and I have never missed a Thanksgiving at my house. But it was so much fun, and I just really enjoyed spending time with my new family. They are so funny. Jason and I decorated our house for Christmas, and it is so fun creating new traditions. I look at our stockings, ornaments, and family Christmas book, and think about how our future children will look at these items and cherish them like I do my parents. Anyways enough rambling, and hopefully I can keep this up!
Just know to any friends who might read this, I love you and miss you!
...ok back to studying.......
